GreyGhost
Oh bugger, better change the vacuum cleaner I just bought. I wonder if she would like a new iron AND ironing board?? Perhaps not - now really stuck for a useful present. GG

GreyGhost
Can you still get them with a galvanised washboard and wringer attached? I'd hate to spoil her and get one of them new fangled automatic jobs. GG

GG Arh yes, the 'mangle' excellent double purpose invention, not only squeezed the water out but kept the little woman fit and strong too.
GreyGhost
I think we'd better stop now or our Christmas dinner will be in jeopardy and the dog house looks pretty likely too. GG

Guest
I thought about getting Jo-Ann a new socket set and ratchet spanners... too generous? Good thought Rod, Halfords have a half price sale on at the min. Not sure if everything is on sale but they have a professional socket set on sale. If anything fails in this set they will replace it for life. Keeping the receipt would be a good idea.
Sox500c
That's sorted then, I bet she will have hours of fun keeping each piece clean and polished. And I'm sure she won't mind me borrowing them occasionally
