Here you can add stories and musings of why these bikes are just great, and how satisfying it is to own one, or more than one.

Met up with 3 friends this morning for a ride around the Northern beaches - great fun! The trusty old cx was in the company of a 250 Honda, a magic 900 Yammy cruiser (like a Harley but better I reckon) and a very well put together 450 single cafe racer - good company, a great bacon roll at Palm beach, in sensational sunshine (hot!) As you see by the photo
(very tempting to strip off all the heavy bike gear in this heat- but knowing my luck............. )
Dropped the cx at the cafe : Hit the starter while she was on side stand -while putting on gear- and she was in 1st! :? ooops - what a dickhead!

Will do Tel,... I think you might be right about the Yammy Chris - they were not sold here new but are now coming in from Japan and morphing into cafe racers.

I THINK POST OF THIS NATURE SHOULD BE BAND

We had rain almost every day during the holidays
Never went out on the bike, fired the Z up twice & i am sure the reaction to first prod of the starter sounded like "NOT IN THIS WEATHER" followed by coughing & farting & not firing up on right pot
Turned out to be duff plug, purring like a kitten until the temp. gauge reach normal :D
Really rough night with gale force winds & driving rain, didn't expect to still see the cover on this morning, rough again now.

Oh to be in OZ, must buy a lotto ticket tomorrow
ENJOY Loz, wish we were there :?

Sorry Dave, to hear you're coughing and farting and only firing on one
I'd love to tell you we had a crap day today so that's why there's no photos ............ but I'd be lying
Rode across town to do a concrete pour with my 2 sons and was sweating while on the move only a little pour, thank god - it was a scorcher..... too knackered on the way home to take piccies.

They used to send folks here for punishment - MADNESSS

Looks like your having a great time Loz

My Grandad's brother many many years ago emmigrated over to Australia without a penny, he worked his boat passage to get there and did very well for himself in farming - I can certainly see why it would be a good idea :) :)

Things haven't changed that much, they keep 'em here and give them a long stay in a 5 star luxury institution , with all mod cons(no pun intended) at the tax payers expense instead. That way they don't even have to suffer the inconvenience of the sweltering sunshine, and spiders under the dunny seat! :)
