CX500 Custom Exhausts wanted

Hi folks.. been a long time away from this site due to personal family problems.. however I now want to complete the restoration of the CX500 I bought a year ago.. need a pair of custom cans.. can anyone help?

I have also a "doner" bike that still has some useable bits on it if anyone interested..

Exhausts in general are exercising our thoughts as they are getting so hard to find

Hi Tim,
They are are devil to get hold of as I found out when I needed some for my Custom. The nearest I could get were from the German eBay site. I was able to get some pattern ones, almost identical in fact. They had stamped on them the german TUV Tested mark so are legal in that country and an acceptable replacement.

Sorry I cannot put you on to which company it was that sold them to me but a little bit of digging around may find them.

Harley cans fit and sound good. About £35 each I think. Trev-H has a set.
