http://www.Motorworks.co.uk
http://www.motobins.co.uk
http://www.james-sherlock.co.uk/
and Ebay of course

I have a motorworks brochure here and cant believe the prices for SH fairings
the forks aint cheap either but what is for a beemer?
Or just rat it

Don't bother with 'Sherlocks' unless you really have to - they have a slightly different name here locally..................

Eric, a bit of a long shot but, find the average price of the fairing your after and compare it with postage of yours to the mainland, try Dublin airport flown direct to Norwich to be collect. I have a fella here that does fibreglass work on the knock, he used to build kit cars and is very good, used him at work last year to repair walls in factory, for some reason they coat them in fibreglass in the Abattoir trade :? :?

Might be an idea Chris - need to talk to some irish bikers to see what my options are - the insurance assessor might put paid to everything if he says it can go back on the road !!

Might go for a bikini fairing !!

Might be cheaper to get a new/different bike !!

Cheers,
Eric.

Eric, if you decide to go for a bikini fairing, or maybe a handlebar fairing, take a look at the Skidmarx website ( www.skidmarx.co.uk/cockpit_fairings.htm ) and look at the Comet fairing for the CX500. It shows the rectangular headlight version, but they also do one for round headlights. They might be able to offer a fitting kit to suit a beemer. Price is good, too. I just bought one for £79.95 + postage.

Wish you a speedy recovery and good luck with getting your bike sorted out.

P.S. If you want to see what one of these fairings looks like fitted to a bike (my CX), then take a look at the 'Ryka's' thread, posted under 'Let's Meet Up'
