silencer

after trying after market silencers and found them to be tinny and rattle I would like to put an ariginal one on. It`s for a cx 500eurosport , left hand silencer, not pattern, does anyone know the best outlet, dave silver very dear, Phil.

You might try MacForte...we had a stall at an autojumble today and I think he had a pair.


Dunno whether he wants to deal with posting etc tho (and if that's the case, MacForte - my apologies for sticking my nose in!)

Well, if you look at my post, I said I THINK HE HAS A PAIR.

So you can tell I wasn't paying attention today! I run a Motad 2-1 on my Euro (originals are too expensive I think) so I wasn't interested.

I T H I N K he has an original pair, poss with collector box, and also a similar-looking pair that def aren't original. Contact him and see, he's a very honest bloke, though he might say no to posting stuff out.

Bear in mind the silencers are the same 500E and 650E, the collector box is the same at the back but the front has smaller holes on a 650 as the down pipes are smaller diameter.
